This premier asset manager is a market leader in investment management. It invests in assets globally across both public and private markets. With its strong commitment toward sustainable investing, it is recruiting for ESG Risk Lead, based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

You will play an integral role in ESG risk globally. You will provide independent analysis and monitoring on the impact of climate change on the asset portfolio based on informed views of long-term sustainability trends, data and quantitative modelling. You will challenge the vendors on the models, methodology and scope of climate scenario analysis. You will quantify the impact of climate risk on asset performance and integrate it into front office investment processes.

You will provide quantitative analysis which provide insights to the investment team on portfolio construction, risk-taking decisions and performance attributions.

Requirements

Quantitative qualification including degree in an analytical, financial and/or technical field, such as Economics, Finance, Physics, Math, Statistics and Engineering, is preferred. With at least 10 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in a progressive asset manager or ESG model vendor, you will have a proven experience in analysing risk factors, and modelling risks such as volatility, tracking error and stress scenario. A strong people leader, communicator and presenter, you are self-motivated, highly credible and able to explain analytical or quantitative concepts in simple, practical and high impact manner.
