    Description

    Our client is a market leader in the Transport Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning industry, and have recently launched a new digital offering which connects customers’ equipment to their cloud-based IoT platform, which provides customers with advanced analytics and actionable insights to visualize, advise and optimize machine health and life cycle outcomes. The business have hence newly created this Digital Channel Manager role to be based in Singapore, and to grow this new digital solution via channel partners globally.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Global Head of Strategy and Service Solutions, this position will be required to build up their channel strategy and structure as the business’ go-to market mode have always been going direct to customers so far. The role is expected to manage and expand reseller partner channel across the globe; ensure compliance and regular audits of channel partners; manage channel conflicts etc all while be driving channel sales and profitability. Partner management will be an important aspect of the role, as you establish relationships, assess and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis; proactively lead joint partner business planning process to develop performance objectives, strategy and financial objectives; assess and manage partner performance on a regular cycle. Training will also be critical, as the role identifies gaps in skills, resources within the channel network. You will need to recommend appropriate courses; oversee training development (via a training manager resource), delivery and adoption; provide inputs to internal teams for developing training courses, as well as putting on promotional activities to grow the new digital offering through our channel partners.

    Requirements

    You should have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years’ experience in a regional/global channel sales management role of digital offerings and solutions (such as web / mobile real-time dashboards, remote monitoring, performance optimization, predictive services etc). Experience building up channel structure will be highly regarded, along with the ability to present and negotiate sales/service center/reseller contract discussions.
