    Description

    Our client is widely regarded as one of the pre-eminent industrial giants of the world with 300 years of decorated history behind them. They have a presence in key financial hubs across the globe but have decided to centralize key leadership positions and core decision-making in Singapore. Consequently, a newly-created Global HR position has since opened for an emerging talent to join their team!     Role

    This Global HR Advisor position is the rare combination: a mix of strategic HR advisory blended with regional hands-on implementation for higher-value HR functions. Tactical HR operations have since been off-shored to a shared services function (e.g. ticketing, HR enquiries, tax returns) leaving this position to focus on top level HR advisory and targeted operations involvement. Working alongside eight (8) other HR Advisors across the globe, the Advisory team plays a crucial role in spearheading progressive change for talents all over the world. Each day will have you straddling conversations across multiple facets of HR from talent management, performance calibration, global mobility, total rewards review, and even global to regional organization re-design. On top of having these conversations, your team is thereafter also depended upon to lay out the executional roadmap in bringing these initiatives to life. This role therefore places you in a varied and interesting position – where no two days will ever look the same!

    Requirements

    You should possess at least 6 years of HR experience at a top international MNC. You should have a proven record in working with a diverse pool of stakeholders whether they be from different functions, across varied levels of seniority, or perhaps even hailing from different parts of the world. You must be able to demonstrate good understanding of broad HR functions (e.g. workforce planning, talent development, performance management, total rewards, employee engagement etc.) and be ready to go from boardroom-level discussions to getting your hands “dirty” in operationalising plans. Excellent communications skills are a must-have alongside high levels of honesty, integrity, and grit.
