A full-time, permanent role within a leading FMCG conglomerate is now open. My client is now looking to hire an in-house Designer to raise the standards – to remake and refresh brand packaging designs for their product ranges (household name brands).

You will work under the mentorship of a Director, in a dynamic cross-functional team. Based on a strong understanding of consumer insights and design principles, you will come up with outstanding concepts and product packaging designs. The role also involves ensuring working closely with other stakeholders, for instance to refine prototypes and designs according to feedback. As this is a regional role, this designer will also need to guide the design adaptations across the APAC markets.

You have tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design / Visual Communications or a relevant field.
Minimum 4 years of experience working on product packaging graphic design for FMCG or retail consumer products, either in an agency or in-house.
You must have prior experience in Packaging Design for Japan and Korea markets.
You are highly encouraged to showcase your best FMCG design works in your portfolio, specifically works on the JP/KR market, which will then be assessed based on criteria including: mastery of technical skills, storytelling abilities, and creativity.
To succeed in this role, you should be someone who is extremely responsible and committed to complete projects on time, and have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
