Our client is a leading Professional Services Firm, poised for aggressive growth within Asia. As they embark on aggressively gaining market share, there is now an exciting opportunity for a Group Financial Controller to join them, to be based in Hong Kong.

Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a lean team of qualified finance professionals and oversee the financial accounting and reporting functions, group consolidation, internal controls, continuous process improvements, tax and treasury matters across all legal entities within the region. Additionally, you will also be expected to be a business partner towards strategic planning and analysis discussions, and conduct technical IFRS analysis, including impact of M&A activities on the financial statements of the group as a whole.

Requirements

You have a relevant degree and professional qualifications. You have a minimum of 15 years relevant controllership experience ideally gained in an extremely dynamic, fast paced, professional services organisation. You are a proven leader, with strong team management experience. Driven, ambitious, hungry and highly commercial, you have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and able to effectively spar with a highly demanding senior leadership team.
