 Description

This is a Singapore headquartered Energy engineering, procurement and construction group with a significant business footprint in Asia and US. Due to ambitious business growth plans, there is a newly created opportunity for a head of business operations and strategy to lead its business operations both in Singapore and abroad.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Business Operations and Strategy will lead key business functions including but not limited to business development, operations, engineering, procurement, logistics. Working with the senior leadership team, the Head will formulate a strategic framework, encompassing the group’s unique value proposition and ensure its continued enhancement. For the functions under his/ her care, the Head of Business Operations & Strategy will own the key performance standards and objectives, and oversee the effective execution of business plans in line with those standards.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a degree holder in an engineering or business discipline with an MBA from a reputable institution. You will have at least 10 years of managerial/ leadership experience in downstream oil and gas engineering services. Those with technical competencies across multiple disciplines across geographies in these sectors will have a distinct advantage. You will also be best described as an effective team leader and coach who is concurrently entrepreneurial, highly analytical, and a solutions provider with a keen eye for detail.
