Description
We are partnering with an established regional energy firm as they further their mission of providing sustainable energy solutions to corporations and individuals across Asia. Our client has developed a suite of in-house energy technologies and digital capabilities aimed at enhancing energy efficiency – and have further tapped on emerging solutions to drive the adoption of renewable energy to reduce carbon emissions. They are now seeking a highly collaborative and experienced Head of Compensation to join them as they journey towards building a greener, more sustainable future for the region. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Role
The successful incumbent will oversee the design and implementation of broad-based compensation programs to align the organization’s rewards philosophies with their long-term strategic roadmap. You will review compensation policies to ensure consistency across the organization in the areas of guaranteed compensation, bonuses, and incentive plans – and drive compensation benchmarking exercises to ensure market competitiveness with other players in the industry. You will further guide and advise the leadership team during the annual compensation cycle and facilitate decision-making regarding annual increment quantums and bonus pay-outs. This is a team leadership position with one direct report.
Requirements
The successful candidate should possess at least 8 years of C&B experience with a focus on broad-based compensation programs including in market research and benchmarking. You must also possess excellent analytical & communications skills and should be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Prior experience in a regulated industry (e.g. energy, utilities, telecommunications) is advantageous; whilst professional qualifications in Total Rewards (GRP, CCP) are likewise preferred but not necessary.
