Description
This is a Group best described as well-integrated, with global business presence along with a large and established assets and trading portfolio in Energy. In line with the Group’s growth ambitions, there is now an excellent opportunity for a high calibre Head of Credit Risk to lead the credit risk function.

Responsibilities
Reporting to Chief Risk Officer, the Head of Credit Risk will lead all credit risk management matters with a focus on counterparties and business originated out of Asia Pacific. This entails rigorous qualitative and quantitative credit assessment of counterparty, performing sanction checks and counterparty KYC, monitoring of credit exposure and be the in-charge for daily credit risk reporting. The Head of Credit Risk will also be responsible for maintaining the credit management system, develop credit risk framework and concurrently assist in driving continuous business improvement projects.

Requirements
The successful candidate be a degree holder in Mathematical / Finance / Business discipline, with 10-15 years’ credit risk management experience in a commodities trading or commodities banking environment, ideally within Energy. You will be described as highly analytical, resourceful, and a solutions provider with a keen eye for detail. You will also be an effective team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As there will be significant interactions with businesses and stakeholders based in China, fluency in Mandarin is essential.
