    Description

The client is a well-known MNC whose products and solutions have seamlessly integrated into most homes and workplaces. After their recent acquisition by an NYSE-listed giant, they have now become an independent entity in Singapore and are looking to build up their organic HR capabilities. They are therefore seeking a Senior HR Manager (Head of HR equivalent) to join them in leading the current HR team and to set up progressive HR structures and processes.

    Role

You will be in charge of leading a HR team of 4 in this role – one HRBP, one HR Associate, and two outsourced recruiters. As one of their key revenue markets, Singapore is poised to grow steadily in the coming years by capitalizing on their existing products and offerings. Your role is hence critical in ensuring a solid HR backbone to support the business as they ready to grow and expand in headcount. You will review and (where necessary) design their frameworks for recruitment, talent management, performance calibration, total rewards, and employee engagement – in short overseeing their strategies to recruit, retain, and reward talent. You are also a People developer to your team of 4 and should ensure they are given mentorship, guidance, and coaching as they develop further in their careers. This is a true-blue Head of HR role and will provide you with a compelling mix of HR Strategy and People Management experience.

    Requirements

You should possess at least 8-10yrs of progressive HR experience gained from an MNC (or similar matrix-typed environment), and should also be a well-rounded HR Generalist with deep experience in attracting, retaining, and engaging talent. Strong knowledge of local employment regulations and a firm grasp of HR Operations are equally essential for success. In return, you will be placed in a rare position to directly partner with and influence key business stakeholders and chart the company’s growth in this exciting time!
