    Description

    Our client is a well-known regional bank with a strong foothold within the Southeast Asian markets. They are a full-function bank with strategic offerings across retail banking, corporate & investment banking, transaction banking, and Islamic banking. Their diverse offerings customised for the SEA market have allowed them to capture significant market share in the region – and gave them a reputation for being highly credible and stable. They are now seeking a Head of HR (Operations and Payroll) to lead their Singapore operations and enhance their current suite of work processes.

    Role

    The Head of HR (Operations and Payroll) will lead a team of 5 employees to ensure the smooth running of HR operations in Singapore. This department is in-charge of the wide spectrum of HR operations from on/off-boarding, facilitating the annual performance cycle, running performance calibrations, liaising with vendors for benefits renewal, running & checking payroll, and overseeing HRIS upgrades and maintenance. Whilst systematic upgrades are being made to automate processes, the incumbent should be hands-on in running full spectrum HR operations and be able to guide the team in fulfilling a wide variety of HR tasks.

    Requirements

    The successful applicant should possess at least 8 years of HR operations experience ideally within the Financial Services industry. You should be exposed to the full spectrum of HR operations, are hands-on in running operations on the ground, and have a desire to develop your team and the people under your care. You are described as reliable, responsible, and have an eye for identifying areas of improvement. Finally, you are a good communicator who is able to bring across your ideas clearly and succinctly to stakeholders.
