    Description

    Our client is a UK-headquartered global professional services firm with a presence in almost 140 countries. They are known as a leading advisory, tax and assurance firm – and a regular partner to the world’s Fortune 500. A newly created position has now open for a Head of People to join them in driving change and establishing best practices.

    Role

    The incumbent will partner closely with the Managing Partners of the firm to institute change within the organisation. There is strong political will within the leadership team to enact decisive change within the firm’s HR practice to ensure they remain talent-competitive in the market. Apart from keeping with current salary benchmarks, the next tranch of their people strategy revolves around enhancing their internal performance management, talent development, and employee experience policies. You play a pivotal role in re-imagining how the firm’s employees are rated, rewarded, and developed; all whilst ensuring these talents remain motivated through means of an industry-leading workplace experience. You truly are the glue that binds employees together, and will set the firm up for their next leap towards being a leading global professional services firm.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate should possess at least 10yrs of HR Generalist and/or HRBP experience. S/he should ideally have gained experience from a global multinational, and must be able to thrive in an environment with little existing structure or process. The ability to switch seamlessly between tactical and strategic work is crucial –  this person is expected to toggle between executing HR Operations and brainstorming with leaders at the strategic level. As the team-lead of 4 other HR executives, previous experience leading small teams would also be advantageous though not necessary.
