    Description

    As a pharmaceutical manufacturing company with a newly formed division, our client is seeking a Head of Industrial Relations to support all business divisions & employees in the AMEA region. Our client is an international company headquartered in Japan and have been changing lives worldwide through their extensive R&D activities. The Head of Industrial Relations would be required to drive significant organizational changes and lead the execution of employee and labour relations strategies to improve overall employee experience and engagement. This position is responsible for providing direct & consultative support to internal partners and ensuring that the organization is well-prepared for any legislative changes within the AMEA region.

    As the Head of Industrial Relations, you will be a significant driver of employee and labour relations strategies. In relation to the former, you are expected to set up employee relations case management framework and processes, provide advice to various business leaders, investigate complex cases by co-ordinating Ethics & Compliance and Legal, and be responsible for employee relations dashboard action plans and the achievement of their relevant KPIs. Relating to labour relations, you are to create and roll out education materials for HR and Business Leaders, implement changes to labour agreements and company policies, and attend and influence the set-up of External Enterprise Agreements with Labour Relations and Employee Relations Teams.

    You should have obtained a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, legal, or other relevant fields with minimum 15 years HR experience in Labour Relations or Human Resources management. You must also possess deep knowledge of labour laws and policies with minimally, an experience in the APAC region. Additionally, it is essential to have experience in designing and implementing employee experience drivers and methodologies. The ideal candidate would be an individual with strong influencing skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
