    Kerry Consulting is currently partnering with a Regional Bank to hire a Head of IT Security position. In this role, you will be managing a team of IT security members responsible for the management of all network and infrastructure related components, consisting of firewalls, VPN, filter and proxies, DLP, digital token platform, anti-virus, EDP, vulnerability assessment scanning platform, SOC/SIEM platform, DB activity monitoring, cloud monitoring, HSM, certificate management, DDOS protection, WAF protection and ID management related platforms.


    Working with your team, you will ensure that the infrastructure is well designed, deployed and maintained in a secure manner resistant to cyber and malware exploitation and data leakage threats, and when potential IT security threats are identified, to lead the investigation and recovery process. Apart from overseeing all new applications/systems development and platform acquisitions, you will ensure that the IT Operations in the bank comply with bank and MAS policies and frameworks. As a Head of IT Security, you will oversee the annual budget of your team and be a key technology partner in conjunction with the Bank’s digitalization journey.


    The ideal candidate should be degree qualified with at least 12 years of relevant experience, preferably from the Banking and Financial industry. This is a technical role hence it requires the candidate to have solid background in an infrastructure-related position. Team management experience would be beneficial.
