Our client is an established and well-funded Fintech who is contending for the Wholesale Digital Banking license. With a regional presence, they are headquartered in Singapore and is a market leader in their space with clear growth plan for Asia. Aligned to the license application and business growth plans, they are now recruiting an Head of Risk Management.
You will be responsible for identification, monitoring and management of the risk for the digital bank and report to the CEO. Other than having the technical competence in Credit Risk Management, you have broad risk capabilities to oversee a robust risk framework for operational, technology, market, liquidity risk and other risk applicable to the Digital Bank. You will lead a team to set up the risk organization and monitor the risk profile of the bank. This is highly visible role where you are required to make critical strategic decisions on behalf of the bank to set the risk-related performance indicators for the business units. This is a challenging role requiring a game-changer mindset who wants to make an impact difference to your work and industry!
You are degree qualified with 15-20 years of relevant experience running a risk function in a bank/financial institution. Prior experience in a self-starter role is preferred. Relevant experience in banking risk (credit, market, liquidity, counterparty risk) and enterprise risk management. You are creative, solutions oriented with strong analytical skills, integrity, commercial judgement and excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluency in Asian language(s) is an advantage.
