An innovative and market pioneering digital private investment platform in Southeast Asia is looking to kickstart its next stage of growth by hiring a Head of Sales and Distribution to build a high performing sales and distribution function. The mission is to accelerate the distribution of high quality private investment products to affluent and high networth clients and exponentially grow its capital raising capabilities.
This will be an exciting, aspirational and potentially ground-breaking role for an ambitious and results-orientated individual who is energised by a hybrid role of individual sales of big ticket investments to institutions and intermediaries as well as people and strategic leadership of an exceptional team. You will have the privilege of working with like-minded, driven, commercial, intelligent and visionary senior talents to build this business. The business has established itself and grown prominently the last few years and you are going to stand on the cusp of making a huge difference to its growth trajectory by establishing a game-changing sales strategy, structure and people organisation. You have in your arsenal a powerful product suite of highly desired, alpha-generating private investment opportunities across private equity, private credit and bonds, real estate project financing, ESG and crypto. You will work closely with the CEO and have the perfect platform to make a very visible and direct impact to the business. In addition, you will be well-rewarded with an attractive total annual compensation of $180,000 – $250,000 comprising of base, quarterly incentive and equity.
As Head of Sales & Distribution, you will structure, select, build and grow a high performing team. You will lead and formulate company’s distribution strategy of private market products to Accredited Investors as well as Institutional Investors like Family Offices, Asset Managers, External Asset Managers. You will take accountability for achieving the company’s target investment revenue revenue and lead from the front by exceeding individual investments sales targets. You will also ensure a high level of pre and post investment experience for clients and investors.
You should have an impeccable track record in institutional sales or intermediary sales as well as sales management. Having an entrepreneurial mindset with track record in problem solving and decision-making within highly ambiguous and fast-changing environment will stand you in good stead. You should also have excellent experience in fintech or trading platforms, private capital markets, or similar industry. Strong communication capabilities, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are important success factors.
