    Description

    This is an opportunity to be the Head of Talent Management and Learning, ASIA within the healthcare and life science sector. Reporting to the Regional Chief HR Officer, you will be leading the design, development and implementation of the Talent & People Strategy. Your team will consist of talent functions including talent management, learning and development and talent attraction.

    Identify organization capabilities and regional talent initiatives while working closely with the market senior commercial leaders and corporate functions. This critical role within the HR function requires high influencing and interpersonal skill to drive the talent agenda. Be the business enabler to establish regional policies, process and guideline in talent attraction, talent development, performance management, talent engagement and retention, employee on boarding and off boarding.

    Responsibilities

    Design and operationalise leadership competency models by job level; guide and work with functional business leaders. You will provide leadership in the design and execution of the Talent, Development and Learning strategy for the organisation, with the aim to build a strong and sustainable talent pipeline. Responsible for leadership development to make sure pipeline of future leaders who continue to progress and ready to take on new roles.

    Application of knowledge of business and the marketplace to accelerate the company’s goals. You will identify future workforce capability needs and implement people development solutions. Consult and advise business leaders on technical capability gaps of the businesses and gap closure plans.

    Understand the business model & company needs, use data, tool to analyze and identify opportunity for continuous improvement.  Identify future skills and propose intervention strategies, in line with workforce transformational efforts.

     

    Key Requirements

    Ideally, you will have a minimum of 15 years of relevant HR experience including talent development, learning, leadership and future workforce development. Proven record in implementing capability building and deepening initiatives, especially in technology-related capabilities. Highly proficient in planning, organising, and operationalising development and talent management strategies. Strong ability to engage stakeholders at all levels to identify capability development needs, talents and potential successors.

    You are a visionary, strategic, driven and tenacious, and will thrive in a fast moving and changing environment. Prior experience in a highly matrixed and fast paced environment is critical.
