    Description

    Our client is one of the prestigious market leaders within the Technology & Media industries. There is an excellent opportunity to be the Regional HR advisor for South East Asia (SEA) markets to enable their business in this sub region on total people solutions.

    Reporting to Regional HR Director, you understand the business strategy and its HR implications to ensure HR practices are supporting the functional departments in achieving their objectives. Manage the successful implementation of HR initiatives for SEA localizing initiatives where necessary and implementing best practice. You are involved in HR budgeting and forecasting. You will work with heads of departments providing value-added HR advice and support in their people management. Ensure consistency and compliance of HR practices across the markets. Maintain effective cross functional communication flows throughout the organization. Revamp and implement development programs to enhance capability bench strength while creating an effective talent pipeline in accordance with the needs of the business. Work with line managers in managing employee relations or performance management issues. Partner closely with HR Director to develop and maintain competitive salary structure (including commissions and incentives) for the company based on market data. Maintain a competitive benefits system and performance evaluation system.

    Requirements

    You will possess a Bachelor’s degree ideally in Business Management or Human Resources Management related degree programs. At least 10 years of relevant progressive HR generalist and Business Partnering experience gained within an MNC environment.  A previous significant experience in the Consumer or Technology Industry is highly preferred but not a must.  Strong functional expertise in HR Business Partnering, HR budgeting and Total Rewards are key. Ideally, you are a highly self-motivated with ability to drive change in a high pressured and fast pace environment with minimal supervision.  Champion best practice processes, tools and commitment to provide quality business partnering solutions. Strong project management skills and results oriented. Excellent interpersonal skill as well as oral and written communication skills. Business savvy, possesses entrepreneurial spirit to generate innovative solutions and deliver with excellence.
