Description
We are pleased to be partnering exclusively with one of the region’s largest telecommunications (“telco”) conglomerates as they continue on a transformative journey that has helped them reimagine their business revenue streams and infrastructural capabilities. Our client has invested heavily in asset and innovation in recent years and these efforts have helped them establish a foothold in 5G network capabilities, cloud gaming, data analytics, and mobile/broadband services. As part of continued leadership renewal, they are currently seeking a HR Business Partner to support their Product, Marketing, Digital, and Sales Distribution channels.
Responsibilities
The successful incumbent will be responsible for leading people strategy and driving transformational change across the telco’s Consumer business units. You will partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals to drive performance – and will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and provide guidance across workforce planning, talent management, total rewards, change management, and employee relations. You will also lead the performance management process for your business unit from goal-setting, performance reviews, to talent development planning. You will lastly also be a change agent helping to drive cultural change and transformation initiatives across the business unit as the company continues on their innovation-led journey. Requirements
You should be degree-qualified with at least 8 years of progressive HR experience gained at a matrixed, fast-paced organization. You must also have prior experience as a HR Business Partner having dealt with multiple stakeholders across different business units. You possess broad knowledge of HR functions across workforce planning, talent development, total rewards, performance management, and employee engagement – and are able to advise business leaders across these topics whilst balancing their commercial needs.
