We are proud to be partnering one of the juggernauts in Singapore’s energy industry as they embark on their transformation journey of investing in clean and more renewable sources of energy. As part of the company’s strategic push into Green financing, they have been opening up offices across the region to tap on our regional counterparts’ infrastructure, land, and space. This has allowed them to drive conversion of energy through natural means including solar, hydroelectric dams, and wind. They are now seeking a HR Business Partner to oversee their international expansion division and renewable energy business line.
This newly created role is based out of their headquarters in Singapore and would be great for someone who is passionate about building a greener, more sustainable future through the adoption of cleaner energy. This role will help with the building up of offices in Vietnam and Indonesia, and support the company’s plans of scaling in the region to tap more sustainable sources of energy. Working with the respective country business leaders and heads of functions, you will lend HR support to small- and mid-sized offices across the Southeast Asian region. You will help to create HR structures for the different offices whilst remaining sensitive to the unique cultural differences and localization needs of each individual geographical area. You will be supported by HR COEs and a HR operations team based in Singapore – but will still be expected to be a hands-on HR practitioner who is unafraid of rolling up your sleeves and to get operational.
The successful applicant must have graduated from a top university and possess at least 6 years of HR generalist experience. You should have experience working in a matrix environment and should have recent experience as a business partner. You should be commercially astute, excellent at communication, and well-rounded as a HR practitioner. The ability to establish structure and framework from a strategic level is as important as the ability to execute and implement policies on the ground. On that note, the willingness to be hands-on and operational is of paramount importance. If this unique blend of character sounds like you – we would love to hear from you!
