    Our client is a renowned household brand within the Consumer industry. There is now an opportunity for a HR Director, based in Singapore managing Asia portfolio including ASEAN, China and India.  We are looking for a very experienced versatile HR Director, who is conversant and highly knowledgeable in running HR operations in Asia.  You will have a strong track record of delivering HR services, managing vendors and advising colleagues & management on employment and benefits related questions including local labour laws, salary and tax matters.

    Reporting directly to the Global Head of HR, you are responsible as a full-fledge HR Business Partner working closely with the Executive Leadership team to understand the strategic business needs and align HR goals.   Having a close business partnering relationship with business is pivotal in order to understand their strategies to identify the HR competencies to reshape the business and support the growth.
    You will develop appropriate solutions and provide expert advice on a range of HR matters and initiative that address the talent agenda. Be a change agent to innovate and uphold the talent strategies, frameworks and programs to support the organization’s vision.

    Business partnering with opportunities for continuous improvement and the delivery of seamless HR services consistent with the People Strategy. Strong knowledge and experience in the field of talent management, career development, performance management and leadership development.  In addition, you will be tasked to drive and manage regional HR Projects and Initiatives including Employee Surveys, Employee Wellness, Reward and Recognition and etc.

    This role has wide exposure throughout the organization and will play a key role in support the Asia region’s commercial strategy and actively participate in senior leadership decision making, lead change management initiatives, and create an innovative and commercially focused HR.  You will involve overseeing and driving HR best practice and a defined talent strategy across the business units.  You will be degree qualified in Human Resource or relevant discipline with a minimum of 20 years of strong HR Business Partnering and HR Operations background.

    As a team lead, you will need to be agile and able to work in an ambiguous environment, so being a self-starter is critical. You will have the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and foster cross-functional relationships. You will have strong interpersonal skills to build rapport across all levels, demonstrate leadership abilities, and display a partnering mentality.  Experience working in a MNC organisation within Consumer-related industries will be an advantage.
