Our client is an leading innovator within the Semiconductor industry with a growing presence in Asia, Europe and US. As the Global HR Director, you are instrumental to strategize the human capital agenda, drive change, and establish best HR practices for Singapore and across the Company’s global footprint. You will partner closely with the global heads of functions to institute change within the organization. To form and shape a wholistic strategy encompassing talent management, performance management, and employee experience, supported by appropriate digitalized platforms and initiatives. Manage and coach HR managers to develop a strong mind-set of compliance, control, and execution to formulate site HR policies and effective processes in various HR site functions including talent acquisition, total rewards, HR operations, employee engagement and talent and learning.
Promote a high performance culture with a focus on team collaboration, simplification of processes, on-going process improvements to create and promote an excellent employee experience. Design and execute process alignment in partnership with local markets, to deliver end to end employee-centric and scalable people solutions within the region to support our accelerated business growth. You will lead and drive collaboration between the regional and in-country teams on existing and future people processes from on boarding to off boarding, internal transfers, termination while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies and sustainability of solutions. Drive and ensure regional alignment and support to country HRs for effective employee support. Lead, coach and inspire the team to deliver high quality and timely HR services to the organization and other HR teams across the markets. Drive Process and Employee Experience Improvement Programmes across the Employee Lifecycle.
Ideally, you will have a Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent. Minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience with at least 3 years holding similar capacity. Strong aptitude and has a desire to develop your career. Make strategic plans and decisions, with a balance of both business and people agenda. Ability to resolve both operational and strategic issues through a pragmatic and commercially sound approach. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, and capability to coach the HR team and the business leaders. Capable to build strong working relationships with business heads and department managers.
