Our client is the commodities trading arm of a globally renowned conglomerate. This commodities unit is globally headquartered in Singapore and runs independently from the larger holding company. They are currently on an exciting growth track and are looking to hire a HR Manager with strong generalist experience and an interest in people development.
This role reports in to a Senior HR Manager based in Singapore and will be supported by 3 other HR administrators. You will act as a HR Business Partner to key stakeholders within the business unit, providing them with strategic support especially pertaining to talent advisory – workforce planning, hi-potential identification, succession planning, talent development, and capability building. You will also be in-charge of mentoring a team of junior HR administrators and act as a point of escalation for complex employee lifecycle enquiries.
You should possess at least 6-8 years of HR generalist experience overseeing HR activities across the entire employee lifecycle. Recent exposure to talent advisory – talent management, talent development, or L&D – would be advantageous. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are necessary due to the role’s focus in business partnering.
