    Description

    Our client is one of the largest banks in Southeast Asia with a reputation for being a strong advocate of technology and innovation. They are responsible for being pioneer adoptors of multiple digital tools which have since transformed the banking landscape in the region – and have continued to increase their investments in digital transformation and tech enablement. Alongside the growth of their technology team, they are now seeking an AVP, HR Business Partner (Technology) to join them in spearheading digital change in banking and fintech.

    Responsibilities

    The incumbent HR Business Partner (Technology) will be a pivotal member of the team overseeing a sizeable tech employee population. While reporting to a HRBP Lead, you will partner the heads of digital teams and provide solutions to the unique and complex people needs of a fast-moving tech employee landscape. You will be supported by multiple COEs across recruitment, L&D, total rewards, and people operations – but are counted upon to be both a strategic advisor as well as a hands-on implementation expert. The bank has a strong track record of retaining high-calibre talent due to their stellar reputation and extensive internal mobility opportunities; this opening would be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop further in a role uniquely positioned in the confluence of banking and technology.

    Requirements

    You must be degree qualified with at least 6-8 years of hands-on experience as a well-rounded HR Business Partner at a multinational company. Prior experience in Financial Services is not as important as strong fluency and interest in the emerging technology and/or Fintech. You should possess strong interpersonal skills, a good grasp of full spectrum HR generalist functions, and a track record of managing multiple business stakeholders.
