    Description

    Our client is an established asset manager with a strong presence in Asia. With plans to continuously grow their business in Asia, they are looking to hire an experienced Institutional business development professional to join their team.

    Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will lead and execute the business development/sales strategy to develop institutional accounts in the SEA region. This involve identifying new business opportunities for the firm, consistently building strong relationships and engaging institutional clients, providing bespoke solutions, seeking direct or sub-advisory mandates, with the objective of increasing AUM and market share. As a senior representative of the Firm, you will maintain regular communication flows with clients, prepare investment materials as well as support their RFPs/ information requests and industry surveys from prospects and consultants. You will partner the investment team to promote the firm’s credibility and capabilities, establishing competitive product positioning.

    Requirements

    You have a Finance-related Degree and at least 10 years of Institutional business development experience in the asset management industry. You have a proven track record and possess a strong network of institutional clients, predominantly in the SEA region. Having an institutional client network in North Asia is a plus. A resourceful, entrepreneurial and dynamic individual, you thrive in a small and high performing team. You are passionate about investments and have deep insights into institutional client investment needs and working knowledge of regulatory requirements in this region.
