A Foreign Private Equity firm is looking for an Investment Associate. A newly created role, this individual will work closely with the investment team in expanding the business in APAC.

Responsibilities:

As a key member of the team, you will participate in end-to-end investment process, from sourcing and due diligence to transaction execution and portfolio management. You will work closely with colleagues across local and overseas office to identify and evaluate new investment themes and opportunities across multiple regions and sectors, and develop and maintain relationships with industry experts, management teams, and other stakeholders. You will assist with the preparation of investment materials, including investment memos, financial models, and presentations, and will monitor and analyse portfolio companies, including financial performance, market trends, and potential risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate has strong academic qualifications and 2-5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a related field. You have strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex financial data, build financial models, and conduct detailed research. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex ideas and analyses will allow you to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties. You are able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. Your experience in deal sourcing, due diligence, and transaction execution are highly valued. You are a highly motivated and results-oriented individual who thrive in a strong team environment.
