    Description

    Kerry Consulting is in partnership with an Asia focus Energy Player that is at the forefront of reinventing traditional energy. They are committed to grow in Singapore and across the region. As part of this commitment, they are looking for a Legal Counsel with expertise in either merger and acquisitions or engineering, procurement and construction to join the high performing legal team.

    Responsibilities

    As a legal counsel within the team, you will be providing legal advice in relation to a broad range of matters including but not limited to renewable energy projects such as solar, electric charging etc. Your legal support would also include mergers and acquisitions matters across the region as well as the development of the organization’s renewable energy assets. 

    On an adhoc basis, you will also gain exposure to technology related agreements for the organizaton and provide legal advice in relation to intellectual property as well as data privacy matters.

    Requirements 

    In order to succeed in this role, you should be a commonwealth qualified lawyer with at least 7 years PQE. You should be trained in either M&A or EPC practice.  Prior experience within the renewable energy sector would be helpful.
