Our client is a European financial institution, a market leader in the space that they operate in with innovative products and at the cutting edge of technology.  Due to continuing business requirements, they are looking for a Legal Counsel to be part of the team to support the Asia Pacific business operations.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will provide legal advice to support the Asia Pacific business operations and growth while minimising risk to the organisation. This includes drafting a wide range of commercial contracts and providing financial regulatory advice, ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements and internal guidelines. You will also be responsible in providing updates to the business on any regulatory or legal changes that would potentially impact the business and participate in managing any disputes that might arise.

Requirements
You are a Singapore qualified lawyer with at least 2 years of post-qualification gained in private practice or inhouse with a financial institution. You must have prior experience in regulatory compliance or banking disputes. You are passionate about financial technology, meticulous and hungry to learn. A collaborative team player with a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, you possess excellent interpersonal skills to work with a diverse range of cross-functional stakeholders.
