Kerry Consulting is currently working one of the fastest growing Singapore headquartered cryptocurrency and block chain company. As part of their expansion plan here in Singapore, they are looking to hire a legal counsel into their governance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has a strong passion for the cryptocurrency space and would like to be in a vibrant and highly dynamic environment working.

About the role

As a legal counsel within the team, you would report to the Group General Counsel and provide legal advice to the business on day to day matters. You will review, negotiate and advice on trading related documentations. You will also take an active approach in partnering business to help role out new products to clients and review marketing materials, partnering with external law firms to ensure that it is in accordance to the law of the country which they operate in.

You will also act as the point of contact for any disputes/litigation cases and work closely together with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure that matters are resolved in a timely manner. On an adhoc basis, you will be involve in special projects of the organization including but not limited to business expansion plans into new territories.

Requirements

You should be Singapore qualified lawyer with at least 5 years PQE. You should have some experience working in a financial institution and/or in a trading environment. As the team has to interact with clients and stakeholder from the Greater China region, mandarin is required for this position.
