Our client is a global education brand with a growing presence in the Asia Pacific region. Due to the growth in the business, there is now a newly created opportunity for a Legal Counsel to support the regional business operations.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts for the operations and ensure compliance to regulatory requirements by relevant local governing authorities. You will also provide advice on areas of intellectual property, digitalisation, data privacy, employment law and be involved in merger and acquisition activities when they arise. You will also participate in global projects as initiated by the Group and Group Legal.

Requirements
You are Singapore qualified lawyer with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in managing commercial contracts with ideally prior exposure in negotiating real estate contracts. You are independent, proactive, innovative and have a keen interest in the education industry. You are commercial minded, a team player and possess excellent interpersonal skills to be able to partner with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
