    Description

    Kerry Consulting is working with an Investment Bank with strong footing in the Asia region. As part of their expansion plan in Singapore, they are looking to hire a seasoned legal professional into their legal team here in Singapore. This is a regional coverage role and you will be part of a highly dynamic and high performing team.

    Responsibilities

    As a seasoned legal professional within the team, you will be providing legal support to the bank’s business units in relation to investment banking and merger & acquisition transactions. You will partner closely with the business to review and negotiate all legal documents. You would keep yourself abreast of the financial services regulations and provide an update to the business in a timely manner. As the business continue to grow in Singapore, you will have the opportunity to be involve in asset management, wealth management as well as trading related legal work. You will also serve as a legal advisor to the Singapore management team and provide strategic legal advice.

    Requirements

    In order to be successful in this role, you should be a qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction with a minimally 8 – 12 years PQE and prior knowledge in capital markets / merger and acquisitions or financing matters. You should be a team player and an individual who enjoys transactional work.
