Kerry Consulting is partnering closely with a Regional Headquartered Renewable Energy Organization with businesses in solar and wind. As part of their continuous growth plan in the region, we are currently recruiting for a Legal Counsel to be part of their highly dynamic and closely knitted Legal Team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who would like to be part of an organization that is committed to sustainability and reducing their global carbon footprint.
As a key member of the legal team, you will take an active role in helping to review, draft and negotiation commercial agreements in relation to the various business units. You will support the business in any project financing matters for their long term projects within the renewable energy space. You will also provide your legal expertise on any merger & acquisitions/joint venture activities that the organization engages in across the region. You will provide recommendations and considerations in the event of any disputes and work closely with external counsels to ensure any of these litigation/disputes are handled in a timely manner.
As part of the wider legal & compliance team for the organization, you will assist to keep abreast of regulatory changes in the region and provide an update to the business where appropriate. You will also help to upkeep the company’s compliance policies and procedures to ensure that it is align with industry standards.
You should ideally be a Singapore qualified lawyer with min 7 years PQE. Prior experience working in the energy sector would be advantages. You should be a self-starter and a strong team player.
