A leading US law firm is looking to grow the Corporate practice by hiring a mid-level M&A Associate.

The team advises global and Asia-Pacific-based private equity sponsors, financial investors and their portfolio companies on complex, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including leveraged buy-outs, bolt-on and carve-out acquisitions, joint ventures, structured investments, take-private deals and other public company transactions in Asia-Pacific and worldwide.

Qualifications

• 4+PQE with relevant post-graduate legal experience
• Experience advising on M&A deals and cross border transactions
• Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity, creative thinker

Responsibilities

• Leading complex cross-border M&A and Private Equity transactions
• Drafting and reviewing legal and technical documentation
• Analyzing commercial and legal information
• Working directly with clients and building strong client relationships
• Managing junior associates as a part of the team
