It is now recruiting a commercially oriented MD, Financial Controller (Investment Finance Advisory focused) for its global Private Market business.

Responsibilities

Reporting to Global MD, Private Market Finance, and leading a high performing global team (Singapore, London and New York), you will provide financial advice to the investment team on private markets transactions globally. The role covers finance aspects of deal support and closing and on-going monitoring of the investment structure and valuations across the private market business units (including real estate, infrastructure and private equity). You will identify opportunities and ideas that will value-add and develop enablers to support the growth of private market business. You will establish strong processes, financial controls and robust risk management and governance in all the finance areas relating to the investment support and monitoring.

Requirements

Degree qualified (Accounting or Business Management), you will have more than 20 years of relevant experience in finance and transaction management including significant years in advising global deals (in both established and emerging markets) from finance perspective. Ideally with a proven track record in global or regional financial leadership positions in a private equity or asset management firm supporting private markets (including real estate, private equity, etc.). You are commercial, strategic, credible, a strong business partner, a people developer and possess a global mind-set.
