    Description

    Performance Analyst (FP&A), Leading Chemical

    A leading, global chemical company that has a large presence in Africa, Asia, and Europe. They have production sites on six continents, operations in more than 50 countries and sales to about 130+ countries. A company that invests in their people to grow in their careers, open culture, and emphasizes collaboration.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform consolidation and analysis for monthly financial and annual business plan for Asia Pacific countries, with aim to drive business optimisation
    • Monitor Asia Pacific performance at country level, with challenge to drive improvements in the countries and BU Asia;
    • Active business partner to support improvements projects (Operational Excellence, Procurement Excellence and Commercial Excellence) in Asia Pacific, to improve sales while reducing costs and working capital;
    • Review and monitor capex investments proposed by countries and provide recommendation to the management
    • Consolidate countries’ currency sensitivity and exposure to support treasury activities in BU Asia;
    • Support countries on the DCF modelling for impairment testing;
    • Identify and drive continuous improvements in performance management process;
    • Any ad-hoc tasks whenever required.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or CPA certified
    • Team player with a positive attitude
    • At least 4-6 years of experience from auditing (with commercial experience), management consulting, business controlling or similar MNC experience
    • Excellent numeric and knowledge of Excel (including Macro functions is advantageous)
    • Good knowledge of SAP and/(or) SUN system
    • Ambition and drive – willingness to assume increasingly broad or complex responsibilities/scope
    • Self-driven with ability to work independently
    • Generates feasible and efficient solutions to solve problems and capitalize on new opportunities and makes timely decisions and takes action in complex and difficult situations
    • Demonstrate good logical and critical thinking skill while resolving issue
    • Outstanding analytical skills and documented strong academic performance
    • Strong communication skills
    • Business interest and acumen
    • Seeks development actively and has the capacity to learn quickly
    • Agile – adapts quickly and easily to different situations; responds well to new challenges
