Our client is a large food and consumer products retail company and is hiring for a Product Manager for their Ready-To-Eat (RTE) category.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for managing the profitability of the private label RTE Food Category which includes achieving sales and volume target. You will get to own and manage the product end-to-end, starting from understanding emerging market trends and technology advancement, work together with a dedicated team of Product Developers/Food Technologists to create or improve product offerings, and finally develop and execute pricing strategies to increase business profitability for the category.

Requirements

You would need to have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in developing, launching and managing the sales of food and beverage products. Prior experience in sales or business development roles in a similar category would be advantageous. To be successful in this role, you understand consumer trends, have strong negotiation and communication skills, takes pride in building and developing a successful private label brand, creative and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
