Our client, a renowned public-listed food company is hiring a Plant Engineer for its central kitchen located in Tuas, Singapore.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Central Kitchen, you will oversee and manage the maintenance team to ensure optimal functioning of equipment and systems in the manufacturing plant. This includes identifying areas for improvement in the plant, developing and implementing preventive maintenance programme and recommending upgrading solutions that will enhance plant efficiency. Besides plant maintenance and operations, you will also need to collaborate with other departments such as the R&D team to support production trials.

Requirements 

You will ideally have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field with at least 3 years of working experience in plant maintenance or operations in a food manufacturing environment. Experience managing a team will be highly regarded. To be successful in this role, you are hands-on, with strong troubleshooting and communication skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment. You must also be willing to work shift hours.
