    Description

    An established global software company in recruiting for an Account manager to sell into the Ocean Carrier business within the ASEAN + Japan and Korea markets

    Responsibilities

    The Regional account manager is responsible to grow existing clients while growing the new logos in the APAC region. You shall focus on growing the e-business transactions, revenue and projects with Global Carriers by developing and maintaining customer relations as defined in the account strategy. You shall prospect for new business as well as customer engagement through regular customer reviews and general account management. You will also serve internally as the “Voice of Customer” for the assigned customers. In this key role, you shall work closely with the Carrier Account’s Management to use your insights within the Ocean Carrier and e-business. You shall take a “Challenger Sales” approach to these prospects that often use proprietary and competing e-business channels. Building and growing these relationships with key management to build insights is a critical success factor for this role. You shall thus be responsible for building and maintaining Global Account Strategies with focus on transactions and revenue growth. These activities include organizing customer lead programs, improve customer approval and 1st transaction performance etc.

    Requirements

    At least 10 years of experience in Sales/account management with a minimum of 5 years of shipping Industry experience (Ocean Carrier Sales) and customer Service Processes. You must have experience in selling Enterprise Software for cross functions within the customer, experience in selling e-commerce/ IT solutions. A challenger Sales mindset and a profound understanding of Ocean Carrier Business and the services/ processes between Ocean Carriers and their customers. Experience in working within the ASEAN market and Japan and Korea market as well. You must be a hunter to be able to prospect and grow new opportunities while maintaining an existing relationship. You must have experience in selling SaaS / eCommerce products and have a track record of consistently achieving sales targets and key account wins in the recent past.
