    Our client is a leading chemical multinational with a global outreach in over 100 countries and significant manufacturing presence in the Asia Pacific region. Due to business needs, they are now seeking for a high calibre Customs Regulation & Trade Compliance Specialist.

    This is a newly created position and you will be responsible to ensure the regional compliance and the respective trade regulations. You will be involved in Trade Compliance analyses and strategic projects. You will act as the subject matter expert and continuously optimize regional Trade Compliance and Customs related requirements. You will provide all information required for customs clearance and liaise with global/ national import and export regulations. You will form and implement processes to ensure communication of APAC are continuously improved.

    Ideally you have at least 8 years’ experience gained in matrixed multinationals with strong knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, logistics, transport and project management. Prior experience in chemical/ oil & energy/ Logistics/ 3PL would be highly preferable. You have good stakeholder engagement and communication/ interpersonal skills. You multitask very effectively with natural organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in short deadlines. You have solid SAP and MS Office knowledge.
