This is an excellence opportunity to join our client, a leading FMCG company which has aggressive expansion plans globally. They have created this role to drive the strategy and long term planning needs. The role would lead a team and report into the Chief Commercial Officer.
You will lead the long term strategic planning process and continue to evaluate future growth opportunities. As the sounding board to the executive committee, you will endorse strategic initiatives and also look at model review, tracking of KPIs and assessment of new market entry projects. While they continue to grow, they are also keen to explore projects to future proof themselves including considering new channels, products and other service lines. You will support the local markets and ensure that they win against competition and give strategic thought leadership on consumer and industry issues.
As the right candidate, you will have at least 10 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Management Consulting, with strong academic credentials. Exceptional numerical and analytical skills are a must with the ability to deal with complex concepts. Ability to collaborate with senior internal stakeholders and cross functions to execute strategy is crucial. Prior experience in the consumer goods industry will be a major plus. Past experience with consulting firms is a must. To succeed in this role, you would be associated with the following traits: High level of influence, ability to relate well to changes and due with ambiguity.
