Our client is an emerging player in the Asian commodities trading industry. Headquartered in the USA, this company has a rich legacy of almost 200 years behind them. They boast a growing presence in Southeast Asia (with Singapore as the regional hub) and are seeking a Regional HR Advisor to join them and establish best practices in their HR policies, processes, and frameworks.
This highly visible and newly-created HR position reports directly to the COO and is supported by an Office Admin headcount. You will be responsible for setting up their HR strategy (recruitment, talent retention, employee engagement) and improving current HR practices including their on/off-boarding process and daily HR operations efficiency.
You should possess at least 6 years of HR Generalist experience across common functions such as recruitment, employee engagement, and HR operations. You must be a hands-on HR practitioner who is equally able to advise senior leaders yet still run daily HR operations independently and efficiently. You should be a strong communicator and thrive in set-ups that are nimble and agile.
