Our client is an industry leader in commodities trading with established operating assets and trading expertise. It has a global footprint, with Singapore as a key regional hub. There is now an exciting opportunity to lead its regional human resources function to drive HR transformation and capability building to support its growth agenda.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Global Head of HR, this is an exciting role supporting the Regional CEO in delivering the company’s business strategies and goals.  You will be a strategic HR advisor to the CEO and business leaders enabling the attraction, development and retention of top talent.  Managing a team, you will be responsible for HR strategy and operations, including talent acquisition, talent management & development, rewards and recognition, and employee engagement. You will drive HR transformation, identifying and driving adoption of best-in-class HR practices to help the company establish itself as an employer of choice.

Requirements

You are degree qualified with track record in developing HR capabilities, with strong HR business partnering and generalist experience, and the agility to switch between a tactical and strategic mindset. You have prior experience in trading companies, either in commodities or financial services sectors, with experience directly partnering traders/ front office.  You have an in-depth understanding of the Singapore market, and its regulations and practices.  You are a dynamic leader and change agent who is strategic yet hands on, with strong EQ and communication skills.
