    Description

    We are pleased to be partnering exclusively with one of the leading names in Singapore in the asset management & private equity space. Our client is an Asia-focused investment manager whose funds boast an impressive track record over the years of delivering superior risk-adjusted market returns. They have also invested in some of the region’s most promising start-ups through means of private equity to shape the innovation landscape of tomorrow. A newly created role has now opened for a talented HR Manager to join them in enhancing their suite of HR offerings across the region.

    Role

    The Regional HR Manager will lead a team of 2 HR Executives to oversee full spectrum HR operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, India, and China. Your team will also be in-charge of reviewing current policies and frameworks to identify opportunities to implement best practices across the region. As an example, you will lead workforce planning discussions with the business leaders and thereafter design recruitment strategies to ensure they continue attracting the brightest minds into the firm. Your team will further support the annual HR cycle from facilitating and calibrating performance reviews to determining bonus pay-outs to encourage a healthy pay-for-performance culture.

    The scope of influence for this role is boundless for the right individual – from enhancing current processes; to introducing progressive HR policies; or even designing structures to improve how the firm attracts, retains, and rewards talent – the opportunity for growth is truly limitless.

    Requirements

    You should possess at least 8 years of HR Generalist experience ideally from within the Financial Services industry. You must be a hands-on HR practitioner who is able to lead HR projects from the top, and yet be equally willing to execute HR operations from the ground. Experience supporting HR operations across other countries in APAC would be advantageous, but not quite as important as your ability to demonstrate proactiveness and energy in problem-solving.
