    Description

    Our client is a global market leader in the Reefer/Refrigerated Containers industry, and am looking to hire for a Singapore-based talent to be responsible for sales, business development and key account management of their equipments (Container Refrigeration Units and Generator sets) across Asia Pacific markets.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the APAC Sales Director, this position will build long term relationships and manage resolution to customer needs and issues as well as identifying and developing business development opportunities, especially in North Asia markets where major customers are located. Aside from maintaining and growing relationships with key account customers, this role will also be responsible for penetration strategy for new accounts. You will determine customer needs, promote products and viable solutions and develop winning value propositions for opportunities to close deals. Creating a strong market presence by emphasizing on value proposition, latest product and solution offerings, as well as acting as the voice of customers will also be key responsibilities of the position.

    Requirements

    You will ideally have a Bachelor’s degree with more than 5 years of regional key account management or sales/business development experience in related industries such as Refrigeration system, Leasing or Shipping, Cold Chain or Capital Equipment (Generator sets etc). We are open to experiences in technical equipment sales or solutioning sales, more critically is the exposure in developing business directly with key accounts rather than through channel partners or dealers. The role will require a self-motivated individual who is resilient, and a good listener with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Strong ability to navigate challenging situations while being customer oriented and good team spirit will be essential attributes required.
