Our client is a global food and nutrition MNC and am hiring for a Quality Specialist to be based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

This role reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and will be responsible for managing food safety and quality matters for customers in Asia Pacific, including conducting audits when required. You will ensure that all products are compliant to the company’s and customers’ food safety and quality requirements, and be the main go-to person for any quality issues in this region. This includes ensuring all quality complaints are handled professionally and you will be liaising with the local Quality team to conduct the necessary investigations when necessary. You will also be working very closely with internal stakeholders like the Sales Managers and local Quality team as well as external stakeholders like your customers.

Requirements 

You will ideally have a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry or a relevant field, with at least 5 years of working experience in Quality Assurance in the food industry. Knowledge of FSSC22000, ISO standards and GMP is required. Prior regional experience would be advantageous but not a must. To be successful in this role, you have strong stakeholder management skills, communicates well and detail oriented. You need to be willing to travel when necessary, about 10-20% of the time.
