    Description

    Our client is a market leader in Dairy Ingredients, and am currently hiring for a Regional Sales Manager role to drive and grow their Early Life Nutrition business in assigned markets of Australia & New Zealand (ANZ), which are important and key focus countries for them. The role can be based in their Asia HQ in Singapore, or in Australia or New Zealand to be closer to the assigned markets.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Asia Head of Early Life Nutrition business unit, you will be inheriting an established portfolio and distribution network, that contributes approximately one third of the total revenue size of the business unit in Asia. However, we are looking for someone who is not just satisfied with the status quo, but someone who is driven and able to develop sales strategies to deliver short term success where segments allow, and build long term growth opportunities via distribution partners and key account customers. Aside from the usual routine of preparing monthly business reviews including market insight, competition and segment trends, the role will also contribute to the set-up of the long-term strategic roadmap together with Marketing and R&D, as well as to establish an effective and efficient sales (support) organization (including price, promotion and conditions policies), in line with the Sales Strategy, resulting in the agreed upon quantitative and qualitative sales targets/forecasts.

    Requirements 

    You will ideally have a degree in Food Science/Technology or other related studies, with 8 to 12 years of B2B regional sales and/or business development experience in the Human Nutrition industry. Experience selling into the ANZ markets is naturally a great advantage, given that these are the assigned countries to this position. Exposure in the Early Life Nutrition segment is an added advantage though not a must, and applicants with experience in other segments of nutrition such as Adult Nutrition are welcomed to apply. The knowledge and ability to do value selling of specialty solutions and/or ingredients will be an important skillset that the team will require. Proven track record of further developing and growing existing business portfolio and bringing the portfolio to greater heights will be highly regarded.
