Our client is a highly established global organization with a strong presence in Asia Pacific. There is now an opportunity to join their regional team to focus on setting up its talent development and management function based in Singapore.
Reporting to the Regional HR Director, you will establish the design and the delivery of talent development and talent management strategies across markets in Asia Pacific. Working with business leaders, in-country HR leaders and headquarter, you will lead talent diagnostics, shape and deliver appropriate talent and leadership development plans and solutions, working also with external vendors.
Driving the talent identification and succession planning for corporate employees and field managers. Design and launch Emerging Talent program to accelerate Hi-Potentials for placement in leadership succession plan. Identify appropriate talent assessment tools. Conducting Learning needs analysis to assess the gaps and recommend talent solutions. Enhance talent process to pivot their talent function to the next level. You will actively adopt people analytics to measure the success of implemented solutions and benchmark against market best practices to drive decisioning on future talent strategies and solutions. You will be responsible for the talent pipelining/ identification of internal key leadership talents and hi-potentials for career development paths. Deliver target succession strength for key leadership roles through active pipelining and timely leadership development interventions.
You are degree qualified with demonstrated track record in establishing regional talent and leadership development function. Ideally gained in progressive multinationals within the FMCG or Consumer related industries. You are well-versed in talent/leadership assessment and diagnostic methodologies, and working with senior stakeholders in delivering people solutions and development plans. You are highly proficient with the use of LinkedIn tools and experience in psychometric assessment tools (Hogan, MBTI, DDI etc). You have in depth knowledge of consumer industry trends, market benchmarks and best practices. Strong presentation, influencing and communication skills will be essential.
