Our client is a renowned market leader in food ingredients and am hiring for an APAC Technical Service Manager to be based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Global Technical Service Lead, you are the technical expert bridging R&D and Sales, hence will partner closely with the Sales team to provide technical support for clients in the Beverage category. Besides supporting the current business partners, you will identify new business opportunities with potential customers. As the subject matter expert, you are responsible for converting customer needs into technical solutions and business opportunities for the company. This includes initiating internal development projects where you will get to work with various internal stakeholders like Sales, Marketing, R&D and Quality Assurance.

Requirements 

You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a relevant field and possess a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen. You should have at least 5 years of relevant technical or hands-on work experience. Prior experience beverage or dairy application is a plus. We are looking for someone with a solutioning mindset, excellent communication and has strong stakeholder management skills. Given that this is a regional role, you should also be willing to travel.
