Our client is a global leading Oil & Gas Storage company and am currently looking for a high potential talent who is hungry to prove himself/herself to join their Singapore team.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager of the Oil/Petroleum team, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding the overall revenues/ profitability objectives within the assigned customer accounts such as Oil Majors, National Oil Companies, Banks and Traders. You will need to develop and implement marketing/ sales plans for (existing and new) customer growth and increased market share (revenues and sustainable profitability). The role is required to systematically analyze the long term multi-million dollar contracts, including revenue analysis and determination of fair market value for services offered, including commercial and business risks. You will work with and coordinate internal and external market and business intelligence resources to understand and develop views on local markets, customers and competitors. It will be important to have the mindset to continually improve and strive for excellence in commercial workflow, service delivery and identification of new business or service opportunities. Other tasks involve managing the customer credit status and accounts receivable together with the internal Finance departments, as well as overseeing and assisting complaint handling and satisfactory dispute resolution for the assigned customer portfolio.
You should have a Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 10 years of commercial sales or account management experience in the petroleum, petrochemical sector, chemical industry and associated industries. Prior experience managing customer relationships of long term multi-million dollar contracts of key accounts will be highly regarded. Most importantly, we are looking for high potentials with the right attitude and drive to succeed. With the right commercial acumens, the ability to develop relationships with senior stakeholders and EQ to read between the lines, these are the key traits to excel in such an account management position.
