We are partnering a Leading Private Bank, highly regarded for its expertise in catering to high-net-worth individuals worldwide and its innovative investment strategies, to recruit for a Senior Credit Officer to join their Singapore team. This role specialises in credit risk management for clients engaged in derivative trading, serving as a vital link between the trading desk and relationship managers.
Responsibilities
As a senior member in the team, you will proactively structure and manage credit risk for a portfolio of large, complex trading clients. Day-to-day tasks include risk identification, mitigation, margin requirements, and intraday monitoring. You’ll prepare thorough credit requests, exercise delegated authority, and provide expert guidance on derivatives portfolios. As a recognized authority, you’ll address inquiries on derivatives, margining, and trading. You’ll analyze exposure and collateral and shape the Credit Risk methodology and framework. Contributing to the professional development of team members and upholding values of honesty, integrity, fair dealing, risk management, and compliance is integral.
Requirements
You have a strong background as a Senior Credit Officer with an in-depth knowledge of derivatives, collateral, and risk management. You are confident in making independent credit decisions, collaborating with various stakeholders, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. You are a proactive, solution-oriented individual who excels under pressure, prioritizes effectively, and possesses excellent communication skills. Proficiency in IT tools, quantitative analysis, and understanding of the wealth management industry and Asian markets are also essential.
