    Description

    Description

We are partnering a well-established Financial Institution with long-standing history to grow their Regional Credit department, specializing in structured debt products. With footprint in key financial hubs globally, they provide a wide range of services including corporate advisory, fundraising, corporate finance and investment banking activities. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead small deal teams, focusing on complex industry verticals in the Asia Pacific region, with regular engagement with senior management.

    Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Regional Credit, this is a Director-level position which entails senior responsibilities as a principal transactor in the department. You will lead financing and credit aspects of deals, demonstrating leadership to senior management and gaining visibility with the CEO. As an authority on credit considerations, you will serve as a debt structuring partner and consultant for business units. You will lead credit discussions in the screening committee forum, negotiate and structure deals, and ensure compliance with regulations and credit policy guidelines. Additionally, you will guide and develop junior team members while taking on ad-hoc duties assigned by the Head of Department.

    Requirements

As a people-oriented leader and skilled credit professional, you thrive in diverse, cross-cultural environments, collaborating with professionals of various backgrounds. With extensive expertise in structured debt and financing structures, you make informed credit decisions even with limited information and tight deadlines. Your strong stakeholder management skills ensure buy-in for credit recommendations, including cases where a negative recommendation is warranted. Confidently expressing credit opinions, you communicate effectively and build consensus.
